Installation Guide

Follow these steps to get the GHL Theme Builder up and running on your server.

Check Server Requirements

Before you begin, ensure your hosting environment meets the following minimum requirements:

  • PHP version 7.4 or higher.
  • MySQL or MariaDB database.
  • The MySQLi PHP extension must be enabled.

Create a Database

Log in to your hosting control panel (e.g., cPanel, Plesk) and create a new, empty database. You will also need to create a database user and assign it full permissions to that database. Make sure to note down the following details:

  • Database Name
  • Database Username
  • Database Password

Upload the Files

Upload all the files from the provided zip archive to the root directory of your chosen domain on your server (e.g., the public_html or httpdocs folder).

Run the Web Installer

Once the files are uploaded, open your web browser and navigate to your domain. You will be automatically redirected to the installation script.

  1. Enter your Database Details and your full Website URL.
  2. Create your main Superadmin Account.
  3. Once complete, you will see an "Installation Complete!" message.

Important: Final Security Step

For the security of your application, you **must** delete the following files from your server after the installation is complete:

  • install.php
  • database.sql
